Plato once stated, "that friendship arises out of human needs and wants and the higher form of ideal of friendship exists only for the sake of God." Selfish and greedy people become the most flattering friends of prosperous, successful, powerful and rich people, but as soon as they face adversity, they not only disappear be even turn against him/her. True friendship is inspired by wisdom, pyar, selflessness and virtue. These are acquired by leading a contemplative life.

Shakespeare states, "All friends shall taste, the wages of their virtues and all foes, the cup of their deservings."

True friendship is a divine gift, which exalts character, ennobles and purifies man's heart and soul and fills it with compassion and understanding. God, and those who live in the love of the truth, are the only true friends of Man and destined but stand by him and redeem him from the sorrow and tribulations of life and death.

Parents are the foundation to any family, without them one is unable to become nurtured and disciplined. Your Mother is your Lord (2nd to God), all her blessings and wishes come true, she is superior and inline with the Lord. Your father come 2nd in your family but is still impartial.

Some of us are blessed into a good, caring loving family, while others are not so fortunate, due to actions from your last life. Guru Ji put us in certain family for a reason as they don’t make mistakes. It is a test of spirituality. It is to test how you deal with attachment as well as many other things.

Family and worldly affairs are an ocean of fire. Through doubt, emotional attachment and ignorance, we are enveloped in darkness. (SGGSJ 675 ). He alone is a householder, who restrains his passions and begsfor meditation, austerity and self-discipline (SGGSJ 952).

Dhann daaraa sanpat gareh kish. Kish sang na chaalai samajh leh. Ik bhagti Naaraayan hoi sang. Kahu Nanak bhaj tih ek rang: Wealth, spouse, property and household - none of them will go along with you; you must know that this is true! Only devotion to God will go with you. Says Nanak, meditate on God with single-minded love (SGGSJ 1187).

Tunisia July 2005

For my 21st birthday back in July, my mum and dad sent me to Tunisia with these clowns, LOL, was one of the best holidays I had, nice hotel, good weather, and um nice blue sea.

The people living in Tunisia never had a clue wat I was, half them didn't even know about sikhi. I was a bit shocked, as I went with a Hindu and a muslim, when we met people they was asking each of us what we were. When ever it came to me they was like what's that, wat do you believe in?, after explaing for about 30 minutes they was shocked to hear about Sikhism and how hard it is to follow, I got a lot of respect out there, some was even scared to see a young boy with a beard, as when they usually see young boys with beards they assume there priest or something. This guy came up to me in the hotel and asked to take a picture with him, he was the hotel photographer and wanted this personally. (hope he hasn't done anything with it, pervs, LOL). the people out there was really friendly, was a amazing holiday, bare gash.

Our hotel was right next to the beach, so at night we use to go these bars, there was a wicked Jamaican bar, after a while I was high on coke so I decided to play with the sand. :)

LOL, oh man looking at this picture makes me laugh, these was some powerful buggies, LOL. Me and my other mates was racing, I cut him up and he drove into a deep ditch, it was so funny, we all had to stop and check if he was alright, LOL, was soooo sooo Fanny, I mean funny.
