Dilruba and Tabla Shaans...

We recently heard that Bhai Baljeet Singh Ji, Bhai Gurmeet Singh Ji and Bhai Fateh Singh Ji *MIGHT* be coming back to England again soon. Dont know if this is true on not? I really enjoyed the kirtan they do. I was looking though our old videos and found some wicked "Shaans" from Bhai Baljeet Singh Ji, Bhai Gurmeet Singh Ji and Bhai Fateh Singh Ji from their last trip to England 2006/2007. Bhai Fateh Singh Ji was one of the best young tabla players I have ever seen! So we thought we should upload videos of just the "shaans". The full videos are all available on Youtube.com and Googlevideo.com. This is for all the tabla and dilruba fans! lol :)

We have uploaded 2 short videos of Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji (Rara Sahib). The first video is Baba Ji doin a "Shaan". Baba Ji regularly did "Shaans" at the start of their Diwaans etc. The second video is the shabad "raakhahu raakhanehaar dhaeiaalaa naanak ghar kae golae". The two videos were taken in England, 1975. The videos are in black and white.

We had a visit recently from our lil nephew, lil Imaan Singh. It was gr8, here are some pics.

He was being naughty here, he was pulling my beard so hard, hes got a strong grip! :)

He saw the Nintendo Wii, and I could tell he wanted to play it! :) but his hands were too small and couldnt hold the control pad! lol :)

BBC 2 Doc - American Sikhs & Yogi Ji

We have uploaded an old (1990s) BBC documentary on Western/American Sikhs, with an interview with Bhai Sahib Bhai Harbhajan Singh Ji (Yogi Ji). Veer Jai Kartar Singh Khalsa is also interviewed. The video quality isn't that gr8, very old video, the video is about 8mins long.

A few days ago, my bros, Binda Singh, Jeevan Singh and lil Amar Singh came around our house. They all went into our back garden and started playing on the trampoline, as always no one can wait for their turn. So they all start jumping on the trampoline together, trying to be funny! but then all of a sudden... (can be seen in the video below lol)

Listening to Chaupai Sahib, especially when sung, is the best, we love that paath so much, its so beautiful. When we revise we tend to listen to it alot! lol :) so we thought we should upload a old video of Chaupai Sahib sung by a very special Kirtani.

Chaupai Sahib sung by Bhai Sahib Bhai Bahadur Singh Ji (BSBBSJ) and his son Bhai Gurmukh Singh Ji (New York). BSBBSJ was a student of Sant Sujaan Singh Ji, who was the head of the Nanaksar Samparda in Karol Bagh, Delhi. They both were world renowned Kirtanis and both very spiritually enlightened gursikhs. They both did Kirtan in Nanaksar Kaleran in the times of Sant Baba Nand Singh Ji. This is a very rare old video, so the video quality isnt the best. I think that the kirtan was done in the United Kingdom in the 1980s.
