God has created a universe where both good and evil co-exist. Binaries show that for each good thing there is a corresponding opposite. These binaries show us that there is a virtuous path towards God and an alternative path of Maya that detracts us from God.
These binaries, including the five evils of Kaam (Lust), Krodh (Rage), Lobh (Greed), Moh (Attachment) and Hankar (Ego), will always exist. They cannot be conquered but only controlled by following the Guru's path.

Good = Evil

Birth = Death

Health = Sickness

Wealth = Poverty

Light = Dark

Compassion = Cruelty

Forgiveness = Retribution

Truth = Lies

Love = Hate

Sweet = Bitter

Wisdom = Ignorance

Control = Temptation

Contentment = Greed

Selfless = Selfish

Peace = War
