Sarovar Of Harmandir Sahib...

(by my brother)

Above is Harimandir Sahib or "Golden Temple", located in Amritsar in the state of Punjab, India. Its the most sacred Gurudwara of Sikhism. The Gurudwara is surrounded by a pool of water, known as the Sarovar which consists of Amrit (Holy Water). There are four entrances to the Gurudwara, signifying the importance of acceptance and openness. Anyone who wants to enter Harimandir Sahib may do so, irrespective of religion, colour, creed or sex.

Above is my Grandfather, Mother and her two cousings, standing in front of one of the most beautiful, spiritual places in the world.

Not many people know this, but there are many fishes in the Sarovar. Here are the pictures to prove it, there are so many! they seem to be very similar.
I was told that the reason they keep fish in the Sarovar, is to keep it clean. I dont know if this is truth or not? can anyone who knows please comment, thanks.
